TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY

TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY

Going from Laughing Clown Malt liquor’s Pit Crew to being of nascars best, driving a Wonder Bread car is actually a pretty funny experience.  If you do not like movies that are intended to be stupid, then please DONT watch this movie.  This movie is funny, extremely ignorant, but very funny.

I believe that Will Ferrell has to get as close to naked as possible in every movie that he does.  This movie is definitely better than Anchor Man, but I will admit I am still partial to Elf.  Ferrell does what Ferrell does simple as that.  Of course, to many this is going to be a drawn out Saturday Night Live script, to be fair though SNL was great when Ferrell was on.   As in all of his movies it has it dry spots, but they are few and far between unlike Anchor Man.  Ricky Bobby could keep your interest hours longer than Ron Burgundy, even though they are both hilarious.

Didn’t have time to give this movie the credit it deserves, I just pray “Dear Lord baby Jesus, tell the people to go see this movie!”.   Grab yourself a pack of big red gum, go to eat at applebees and please go see this movie, because it unlike Ricky Bobby is actually on fire.

Been a while since I took the time to sit down and write a movie review.  Lately I have had a major case of writers block.  With that being said I took time out of my Saturday to go see a movie that was simply breathtaking.

Sad and deep movies usually suck simple as that.  Click on the other hand Left me thinking and almost made me cry, and I hate to cry.  Happy Madison making a movie that makes you want to cry?   How weird is that?

The first hour or so of the movie is classic Happy Madison, fart jokes, sex jokes, and just out right childish fun! Its great, the last half hour has you looking for a tissue to keep your eyes dry.  I usually absolutely hate most movies that make me want to cry, but this one caught me at an odd point in my life.

I am at a crossroad searching to find myself, then along comes this movie that puts things into perspective.  Everyone does it, live in the fast lane; ignore our loved ones while trying to make our life better.  Take a look around, everyone has an objective, a goal for their self.  Make sure that those goals not only meet your needs but also meet the needs of the ones around you.

I talked a lot of trash in the past about Sandler trying to find himself as an actor while he turns away from the boyish comedy that made him famous.  I guess we all have to grow up sometime.  We may never see another Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison, but we can all keep them in our vault of classics.

Click sales itself as classic a Sandman antics, that is what lures you in.  When the movie first started rolling I thought, this is pretty basic Happy Madison material glad not the best but still a fair movie.  Then the movie makes a turning point and hits your heart hard.  This is by far one of Sandlers best pieces of work.  Never thought I would hear myself say I found a movie I liked more than Billy Madison.

Of course the critics hated Click, but that is not important.  As many of us already know, if you put the name Adam Sandler on The Godfather and the critics will hate it.   I thought this movie would give me a few cheap laughs and it did, but it also made me think a lot and enjoy it.  If you knew me personally you would agree that is a near impossible challenge.

I apologize that this review is lacking in humor but at least I am writing again and it feels great.  Keep tuning in I am sure there will be another movie come out that can get my standard review.

REDNECKNERD THE MOVIE CRITIC
I haven't really had time to watch any new movies lately.   I love writing about movies.   I am not your average critic, I don't looks for art, I just look for entertainment, not like those dumbasses on rottentomatoes.com.   I can look for art and will talk about the acting.   I sometimes read into movies a little too deep, but some people who watch movies are just idiots.   So i thought I'd take time to give my review on the critics.
MOVIE RUINED BY ONE LITTLE-BIG MISTAKE!!!

The Movie was made well, so i thought, almost till the end, but the ending scenes where Adam and Jack visit the Buddhist Monastery. I was shell-shocked to hear the Comments made on Lord Buddha. Why Sarcastic Religious Comments on 'other' Religions are allowed is totally beyond my understanding. I was more pained to see that the Audience in the theatre totally enjoying that Rude joke. We have to be more sensitive while it comes to such foolish acts. For this reason i lost all interest in the movie and it sucked big time after that. If there is a Z in the ratings, this movie Deserves it. and the ending scene where it is shown that the judge is a friend of Jacko is stupid. Being a friend does not mean that they can redirect Mr.Adams flight or hold mock court sessions, i guess all those who took part in this movie need some urgent medical attention. One last doubt: Would the Director or the Audience will be so liberal to laugh away if the same joke was directed on Christians? I DONT KNOW!

REVIEW RUINED BY ONE LITTLE-BIG MISTAKE!!!

First off she gave the movie a F because of one scene. I will admit this was not the Sandmans best film, but thats crazy theres one part of every movie that I have ever seen that I don't like, but I don't give a movie a bad review because of one scence.   She said the buddah scene ruined the movie.   So it doesn't matter what she says about the twist at the end.   The way I see it she would've probably liked the ending if it werent for the buddah scence.   I don't see what was so insulting about the scence she makes such a big deal about.   It is a fictional comedy enjoy it.   She goes on to prove her ignorance, when she says she wonders if the director or the audience would be so liberal if the jokes were about christians.   I can't speak for the audience, but I am your typical Adam Sandler fan and most the people I know that enjoy his movies wouldn't care.   As far as the director its just his job to direct, the producers pay him.   So I guess she means the writers and producers.   To educate this woman, Adam Sandler was a writer and producer for this movie, and it obvious that comment was directed towards him.   Sandler's Jewish, so why would he care if there was a Christain joke in a movie.   As far as that goes if you have ever listened to one of his CD's you know he makes plenty of Jewish jokes, so he is a true liberal.   So next time you try to make a twist of your own do a little research.   So my review is the ending of this review ruined the whole review for me.

I can't believe that I let Sandler's name lure me into the theater for this 1 1/2 hour "film." This movie gives creedence to one of Satan's biggest lies, that doing good alone sends you to heaven while evil deeds result in hell. Besides that falicy, the movie is full of toilet humor, sexual humor and too many blasphemous scenes to mention. The portaryals of heaven and hell made me want to weep. There wasn't one moment when I wasn't offended or felt comfortable. I'm too embarassed to admit even in writing that I saw this movie. I felt sorrow for the children sitting behind me whose unsaved parents had to tell them the vulgarities were humorous (which they weren't). If that isn't enough to keep your money in your pocket then the poor quality of the film should. Sandler's offerings, while by no means pillars of morality, have at least been somewhat entertaining in the past. Not so with Little Nicky. The plot is lame, the characters are fools, and the scenes don't fit together as a whole. I only laughed at the moments when Sandler threw in characters from The Waterboy and Happy Gilmore. The only good that can come from my viewing this movie would be for my comments to keep others away from the theater. A complete waste of time, money and brain cells. My Ratings: [1/1.5]

CHRISTIANS ARE WAY TO UP TIGHT!!!!

I expect this from the uptight critics and the Old Bags that right the Mommy reviews for yahoo.   Josh I don’t know what your last name is, but your 25 years old.   Come on you wanted to weep from being offended?   First off   other than the fact that the movie depicts Heaven and Hell there is not one shot at the Christian belief.   I am Christian was I offended no, but then again not to much offends me.   The movie definitely isn’t for kids and I would never argue that point.   Most people have an idea what movies are going to be about when they go to watch them.   I am so sick of Christians and Critics going to watch a movie made by and Actor that they always get offended by.   Why the hell do you keep watching his movies.   I don’t think your ashamed that you seen this movie. I think your ashamed to admit you liked the movie or you find humor in a character you think its wrong to like.   I like Sandler I guess I am going to hell.   Don’t believe that is in the bible.   You can’t get so bent out of shape over everything.   Yes this movie is immature and no this isn’t the way the bible depicts Heaven and Hell.   Mel Gibson’s movie is what your looking for. I liked that one too, thought it was touching like it was supposed to be.
Little Nicky made me laugh like it was supposed to do, I am not comparing the too but you kind of knew what you were you were getting yourself into.
